In his writeup, he stated; “Kwanele Mthethwa has joined #UmkhokhaTheCurse and will be taking over Kwezi Ndlovu’s character as the new Nobuntu,” tweeted Mcdonald.
Then it was made clear that why Kwanele will be taking over Kwezi’s character is because she’s pregnant and gone on maternity leave.
Reports had it that it was her first pregnancy and she was expected to deliver the baby in 2024.
Nobuntu, on December 16 2020 lost her dad and then she stated that she went “into a very deep dark hole”, this statement was made when she was talking about her character as Nobuntu which was a depressed character she had to portray.
